RELIGION...
It is a sad thing in my eyes. Us being imperfect and with flaw (human) we have the need to put standards and limits on everything in our lives as to better understand things. It started as something good.. mimicking like children... make laws and rules(like Moses had recieved from God) so people know boundaries. In ways its good.. don't go 50mph in a school zone, why? cause children could get killed. Using rules to create Religion is bad.
We first were afraid when God spoke to us all..
Deuteronomy 4:24and you said, "look, the LORD our God has shown us his glory and greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the fire. Today we have seen that God may speak to someone and.....25 if we hear the voice any longer, we shall die.(It was LOUD and Extreme, but an amazing moment of Glory turned to crap by man). then they picked someone to go on the mount to listen to God and relay the message: the ten Commandments. So us humans were afraid and set a rule on God. We will die if we hear the voice any longer. man made rules to put God in a box.
People can then easily read a list of what to do or not and when. and so Religions are born and also besides putting God in a box.. Religions that pertain to other entities all end in some Human form with lists and rules to follow. Yes some can seem quite intriguing and can pull one in, but anything of the world will result in Death.
God is beginning and the end.. He has been through all time and directs all time. Religion can not describe the true spirit of God or how we should live. Only God can and in each moment only God can bring us the truth. Religion is like a list describing how to be to get to heaven or a place or hierarchy of gods and goddesses. God is and will always be infinite, omnipresent, and does not have a period at the end of his existence nor does he put a period at the end of ours... Religion is Death. God is life everlasting and he has given us a chance to join him eternally, then a spiritual bond that will manifest with in us if ask and receive Jesus.ALL our pain was taken by Jesus. Through his beatings and lashings. His torment and discrimination. his Sacrificial Death on the cross.
1st john 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.Whosoever does not love does not know God; for God is love. God's love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live Through him. In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.(anything not of God). Beloved, since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another, No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is Perfected in us.By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
But we must testify that Jesus has come to release us out of this world and the pain we have received in it. Jesus has taken it away and we can now live in a released sense of love in us and for us and surrounding us. Through Christ in God.
1st john 4:14 and we have seen and do testify that the father has sent his Son as the Savior of the world. God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the son of god, and they abide in God So we have known and BELIEVE the love that God has for us.
God wants a relationship with us,
Not a religion to Direct us!
